Santarvis Brown, EdD, JD

Santarvis Brown, EdD, JD, is a professor of management and leadership at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, where he teaches and mentors graduate and doctoral students in leadership, management, strategy, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and global business. He previously served as the chair of graduate business at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, providing leadership in curriculum innovation, accreditation, assessment, faculty engagement, and academic program development.

In addition to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, Brown has taught and developed leaders at Cornell University, Florida International University, the University of Virginia, Charisma University, and Dickerson-Green Theological Seminary. As a lawyer with a Juris Doctor and expertise in educational law, governance, and compliance, he brings a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective to leadership and organizational transformation.

Brown’s broader leadership experience includes advising university leaders, governing boards, nonprofit executives, faith-based institutions, and public-sector organizations on strategy, governance, leadership development, institutional effectiveness, and transformational change. His contributions have earned national and international recognition, including being featured in Times Square through Nasdaq, named a distinguished professor at Charisma University, appointed a Distinguished Scholar Practitioner with the European Higher Education Institute, and selected as a Visiting Scholar with Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Education through the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Institute.
